Default Any remedies for extremely dry skin??

I have always had a problem with dry skin but it really didn't concern me because I have always lived in a humid area so my skin was able to suck in moisture from the air. We now live in the desert and my skin is so dry that I am getting premature wrinkles (I have posted a couple of questions about wrinkles...i have become obsessed). What are some ways to keep your skin moisturized? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Getting wrinkles are the main problem from direct exposure to sunlight. Since you live usually under direct sunlight, you should consume water as much as you can. Second thing is that, you have to protect you skin from sunlight and that is possible only with a good quality of sun-screen lotion with balanced SPF. Don't forget to apply this when going out. Apply an anti-wrinkle cream in night while sleeping. As a whole only two things can protect you that is maintaining water level in your body and protecting your skin from sunlight.

Dry skin refers to the situation when less oil is produced by the oil glands. I will tell you one home remedy tips for dry skin.

Prepare a fine mixture by adding 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of orange juice,1 teaspoon of olive oil, few drops of rose water and some drops of lime juice. Apply this well prepared mixture on the face in the morning 15 minutes before taking bath. This is very useful home remedy for dry skin.

Do try and tell me your feedback.

Rose Water for Dry Skin

If you are worrying about dry skin, don't worry about its and use rose water. Because rose water works as an astringent for your skin, so that your skin will get rid of dryness. As soon you apply rose water on dry skin, the dryness will go forever. Rose water is a natural astringent for your skin.

Exercise, healthy food, and use a simple hydrated skin cream after a shower.

I know of some great, great products you can try out for anti-aging as well as just dry skin. I currently use Renew for my dry skin. I also live in the desert, and I have super sensitive skin, as well as having dry skin. Renew is the only thing I have found to work for me. Plus, I have several friends with kids who have eczema, and are able to use this product and it actually has prevented the eczema from coming back! From the same line that makes Renew, they have a couple of wrinkle creams and oils that soothe out the lines. My mother is using those, and swears by them. I can give you more info, if you are interested! (I do not know the name of the lotions and creams and such that she uses, but I would be happy to find out.)

And, yes, exercise, sunscreen, vitamins, etc... they all play into it!

Hi, have you gone for any medicines for your problem? Well, other than that you can also try some detox plan. There are many detox plans like juice fasting, fasting on raw veggies and fruits, lemon juice etc. You can also consult few good health centers like Fresh Start in Vancouver, i have personally taken their 5 days plan & i really got a change in my health. Their packages are also very nominal as compared to others & you will also enjoy the place, ocean beach, its natural beauty, luxurious accomodation, in short everything. It would definitely help and your skin will get rejuvenated.

Dry skin can be caused by poor hydration, sun damage, smoking, aging, and other various factors. Depletion of water in the body like dehydration can also cause the skin to become dry. There are several medical and cosmetic techniques available in reducing the wrinkles. But most importantly, you should know how rto manage stress as this is the biggest factor that highly contributed to dry skin. As a holistic practitioner, I used the yuen method in helping me reduce my physical and emotional issues. Energy Medicine Free Video Library - Energy Medicine - Chinese Energetics
