hi, new to this forum. Hubby suffers from chronic sinusitis . Wanting to buy netti pot. should i buy ceramic or plastic ? any advice welcomer. Thanks.

    

hello! I honestly do not know about this netti pot, but what i do know is that by eliminating the toxins & chemicals from your home that your sinuses will improve. THis is a fact & I know this from experience because I have always had problems with my sinuses all my life & would get bad sinus infections 3-4 times a year, but in the past 2 1/2 years since i eliminated the chemicals from my home i have gotten none!!YAY! I use a ceramic netti pot, but I don't really imagine it makes any difference. Slightly salty, lukewarm water. I know a lot of people for whom this helps.

Either should be fine. One note of caution: because the pot comes in frequent contact with the nose and mucus, it is important that it is cleaned and disinfected properly or else it can be attract many germs.

You could also use a tea pot as a neti-pot.

i have heard this caqn help, but be careful and clean the netti pot. you can do more harm if you use a dirty one.
