I am very against the taking of antibiotics because of how much they mess up our system they are immunosuppressant they destroy good bacteria upsetting the balance of bacteria and fungi in the intestinal track and they often cause antibiotic resistance. After years of searching for the best alternative I found one that is superior. First I will say those mentioned in this thread so far are good and effective. I use colloidal silver, Smart Silver brand I believe to be the best. The best experience I can share is we treated our 5 year old with it instead of a script for amoxicillin that the dentist gave for an abscessed tooth. The dentist was going to remove the tooth but would not until the infection was gone. In five days we returned and the dentist found zero infection and operated he said antibiotic worked great and we said we never filled the script!
