For anyone that is interested in a good book on tea, there's a book called "On Tea and Healthy Living" by Penelope Sachs. She is a practitioner of naturalpathic, homoeopathic, and herbal medicine. The book is only 64 pages and has 17 short chapters of which 8 chapters focus on certain teas and their properties. It's a great book if you are trying to drink more tea for healthy living.

I drink Wisdom of the Ancients Symfre Herbal Tea through my bombilla whenever I'm sick with a cold. If it's drunken every couple hours or so, it works better, but it always works! It's the only thing I ingest for a cold, with the possible exception of some viatmin C! It helps me sleep if I drink it at night before I go to bed!

Default Yes I drink tea as medicine

Yes drink Green tea to control my blood sugar. I am having diabetes for last 9 yrs but till now I don't need any medicine. Only I drink Green tea everyday after my meals and check my blood sugar every week. I came to know the huge usefulness of green tea from my doctor and from internet. I really love it!

I always use green tea with honey..and I think that it's great. But my mother can't drink it because she has sleeping problems. So can you suggest something similar (without excitant) to drink in the evening?

Rooibos may be good for that. It has no caffeine and according to what I've heard, it helps the body relax. It also has many health benefits. Good luck!

Thumbs up Drink Green Tea For Great Health Benefits

I love green tea and drink a lot of it myself (mostly organic). Green tea is a powerful, antioxidant-rich beverage due to epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). You will reap a lot of health benefits when you start drinking real green tea!

I use a natural sweetener (although tea really doesn’t need to be sweetened, as it just depends on your taste) because I like my tea with a bit of sweetness to it. You should never use sugar or artificial sweeteners. Xylitol or Stevia are two great natural sweeteners. Honey is good, but adds calories for the weight conscious, so its best to use the natural, low to no calorie sweeteners.

Xylitol is an organic compound and a good substitute for sugar. This sweetener is found in the fibers of many fruits and vegetables such as oats, corn husks, berries and mushrooms.

Enjoy your green tea drinking!
