Is arthritis occur anywhere of the part of the body? As I have known, it commonly appears at the joints of our legs. What specific portion of the body it strikes most?

It strikes the joints of our handfs and knees first. that is where the pain and stiffness begins. It later affects most of the joints and makes it difficult to walk around and sometimes makes a person bedridden when things are very difficult

Default what is arhiritis

Arthritis is a term that includes a group of disorders that affect your joints and muscles. Arthritis symptoms include joint pain, inflammation and limited movement of joints. When a joint is inflamed it may be swollen, tender, warm to the touch or red. Surrounding each joint is a protective capsule holding a lubricating fluid to aid in motion. Cartilage, a slippery smooth substance, covers most joints to assure an even, fluid motion of the joint. With joint arthritis, the cartilage may be damaged, narrowed and lost by a degenerative process or by inflammation making movement painful.

My sister-in-law has just been diagnosed with arthritis, and hers began with her feet. This was a fairly unusual case - because her feet were swollen up and they thought that it was a kidney problem.
But she is being treated effectively with anti-inflammatory drugs, and a gel .

There is not cure for arthritis. There are many treatments but no cures to get rid of it completely. There is also more than one type of arthritis. Some are genetic and other are as a result of aging and injury. A couple of non medicated things you can do to help keep pain to a minimum is to maintain a proper weight and to try and stay active. I know being active when you are in pain is difficult but it does help. My family has both genetic and injury related arthritis. For them it has mostly affected the hand and knees and keeping weight off really helps witht the knee pain. My father also has injury related arthritis in his shoulder and back. He has had rotator cuff surgery and has also injured his back a couple of time in the past as a result he has inflamation in these areas.

As the previous posterm jhall, mentioned, there is no cure for arthritis. However, there are treatments, which greatly alleviate the pain. Some of the treatments for arthritis are methroxotate and steroids. I also heard that pure cod liver oil helps to alleviate the symptons of arthritis. I hope that, someday soon, there will be a cure for arthritis. But it does not look as if that day is anytime soon.

Arthritis usually occurs in your weight bearing joints, such as your spine, knees, ankles, and hips. These joints take on a lot of extra stress. It is recommended to stay active with moderate low-impact exercises and to take a glucosamine supplement. I take a liquid glucosamine called Synflex, a friend recommended it to me. It is also a huge advantage for arthritis to sufferers to maintain a healthy body weight.
