Chiropractic!!! Also do some thinking and determine what stresses caused it...physical, chemical and/or emotional...and address them.

If your only objective is to kill the pain then a pain killer will probably work. (Consult with your MD first.) If you're interested in getting to the root of the pain and addressing it so that it doesn't return then I would again recommend seeing a chiropractor.

Research shows that 70-95% (depending on the literature) of all health problems are due to stress and I'm not just talking about emotional stress (relationships, money, work), it also includes physical stress (inactivity, sitting too much, poor posture) and chemical stress (environmental stress, diet, smoking).

I have actually found something that you may consider to try))

"After a hard day at work or driving the car for several hours most of us come home and feel lower-back pain. So you try to do everything to get in bed as fast as you can to get some rest. In recent decades, however, doctors started counseling patients to stay as active as they could.

Normal daily activity seems to be the best way for patients with low-back pain to get better"

I definitely agree with the article you posted Justin. Movement is key.

Default Lower Back Pain

Try to stretch the lower back while bending forward;
just let your arms hang to begin with and relax. Enjoy this posture for a couple minutes.
Later, if you can:
grab your toes or touch the floor. It might take a couple days if you are not used to stretch in this position!
Lay on your back, stretch your legs up and grab your feet or toes. Stretch slowly!!! Don't over do it! You might have to bend your knees in the beginning and slowly start stretching from there.
If you do this daily before your day starts and before you go to bed, you should feel a difference.

Back pain can be prevented by using fish oil or Castor oil.
