Balance Exercises Help Low Back Pain And Sciatic Pain
Balance exercises are vital to help us to stay on our feet and prevent us from falling when we suffer from low back pain or sciatic pain. Oftentimes, with low back pain we assume a bent forward posture. That forward positioning pitches our center balance point forward into our toes, which diminishes our balance abilities. Also, with sciatic pain many times we try to stay off the leg that is hurting. Again, that shifts our center balance point away from midline and decreases our standing and walking balance, putting us at risk for falling. Additionally, with sciatica we can also have numbness and tingling in our leg and foot which decreases the sensory input from our feet to our brain and reduces our balance abilities.
