Women should get regular mammograms and do a self breast exam in the shower at least once a month. You feel around your breasts with two fingers to see if there is any change, mainly a lump. However, this is nearly impossible for women with large breasts to do as they already have "lumps" that are not cancerous.

If you do regular breast exams, be sure to tell your doctor if you notice any lumps that weren't there the previous month. Also, discharge from the nipple can sometimes indicate breast cancer. It is so important to keep a close watch on the health of your breasts.

* lumps
* nipple changes
* cysts
* breast pain

These are the basic signs of Breast cancer but the good news is that's Scientists in British Columbia announce a landmark study that is expected to bring the medical world closer to a cure for breast cancer through the development of new treatment targets and therapies.
Am sure this is going to be a invention in medical history.

hope this a good news

Most often breast cancer is first noticed as a painless lump in the breast or armpit, changes in breast size or shape, dimpling or puckering of the skin – thickening and dimpling skin is sometimes called orange peel, redness, swelling and increased warmth in the affected breast, inverted nipple – nipple turns inwards, crusting or scaling on the nipple
