Did you know that November is national Lung Cancer Awareness Month? There is a great event taking place on November 1st in New York City, which is free and open to the public. It’s a Lung Cancer Awareness Public Symposium that will consist of a panel discussion with renowned doctors from around the country (from Memorial Sloan-Kettering, NCI & UNC Lineberger). The doctors will discuss the most current knowledge and latest developments in lung cancer research. Plus, if you have any questions you’d like to ask the doctors, there will be a public Q&A after the panel discussion and you'll have access to these experts. So, if you’re in the New York area on November 1st, be sure to stop by the Hilton Room at the Waldorf=Astoria from 10:00am to 11:15am. You can check out lungfund.org for more info.
