I just wanted to remind everyone that if you have a mole or a spot on your skin, get it checked out by your doctor. I had a mole on my back that I really didn’t pay attention to. One day my doctor saw it and sent me straight to the dermatologist. I am thankful she did because it came back as cancerous. They were able to cut out enough around it, and according to test it is taken care of.

Please pay close attention, and if in doubt get it checked. It could save your life.

    

That is great that your doctor spotted that mole! That is wonderful that they were able to remove it before it got too serious. I am always worried about skin cancer. As a child, I baked in the sun. Now I go nowhere without my sunscreen. My husband works out in the sun and I worry all the time. He is not one to lather on the sunscreen like I do-no matter how much I drill it into his head.

I am extremely fair skin, and I used to argue with my mom because she would not let me get in the tanning bed when I was younger. I am so glad that she didn’t let me now!
