I'm 32 and in braces. I've been in braces for almost 1 1/2 years and haven't had any problems until recently. I've noticed that my gums are starting to bleed a lot more easily AND my gum line is receding. Is that normal when you're in braces? What can I do to save my gums (and teeth)?
