I've heard that there's only a limited amount of shots available. Is that true?? I still haven't really decided on whether or not our family is getting the shot. I keep going back and forth. They start giving the shot in 2 weeks and I was thinking of waiting to see what happens. You know....to see if there are any bad side effects but what if I wait too long and they run out of the shot?

    

Really? I didnt know about this.. I guess, you could talk to your health care professional and see what h/she recommends.. While Tamiflu sideeffects have been talked about, dont know much abt the vaccine yet, so I think a health care professional will be in the best position..

I've heard that there wouldn't be enough swine flu vaccines to go around too. But just yesterday we got a letter from our local school to let us know that our kids can get the swine flu shot for free, so I suppose they expect to get enough, at least for the kids.

I realize that the whole swine flu thing is well behind us..but I really hope people don't forget what happened, and that we all learned something from this fiasco.
