If a person is in severe pain and he or she takes a pain killer medicine, according to medicine how long should this pill react and that pain would disappear?

Pain killers are effective and I use pain killers at different time for reducing pains and they works for me.
But without your doctor advice don't use any medicine.

An analgesic (also known as a painkiller) is any member of the group of drugs used to relieve pain (achieve ). The word analgesic derives from Greek an- ("without") and algos ("pain"). ... the efficiency depends upon the strength of a pain killer.

Pain killer act on the body in 10-15 min. it really depends on the potency of drug, how much time it takes to produce its effect. But we should avoid these pills because they produce side effects on the body. We should always consult with a doctor or health professional before taking a medicine.
