Default Dental Insurance

I'm 22 years old. My question is, do you think that dental insurance is worth it? I'm considering getting dental insurance, but some people say that it's not worth it.

Also, do you know good dental plans that include orthodontic work, such as invisalign?

I would say dental insurance would be great for the just incase. For example, say you broke a tooth and had to have a root canal and a crown. You are looking to spend at least $1500 without insurance. If you are covered with insurance, a majority of this would be covered.
You never know when something might happen.

I have never found our dental insurance to be even half as good as our health insurance, as far as the coverage goes.

I do think having some sort of insurance is better than none though, especially since the cleanings, x-rays, and 6 month check-up are usually 100% covered. It’s also good for when you need major work done too; it just doesn’t cover the amount I think it should.

There are discount dental plans (not insurance) out there that also can help you in addition to your dental insurance, some even cover orthodontics.

There are many facilities will be available in the market for the dental insurance. I do think having some sort of insurance is better than none though, especially since the cleaning, x-rays, and 6 month check-up are usually 100% covered. These insurance is really good.
