Balance exercises are increasingly important for all of us as we age. Balance exercises done on a daily basis can help improve balance and prevent falls. As time marches on, more and more of the responsibility for health and wellness falls on the shoulders of each individual. It seems that the health care system becomes more overloaded, more expensive, more inaccessible and more out of touch every day. That is why areas of self-care like balance exercises and balance training is left up to each person. Additionally, the trend in health care seems to be pushing towards prevention. Balance exercises definitely fall under the category of prevention.
