Default irregular heart beat

I take a prescription for irregular heart beat, but wondered if there are natural or herbal treatments that you have found successful.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Nothing significant, avoid stimulants and stress; and junk food, if it still does not work out check with your doctor, OK

Hi,
For about a month now I've been experiencing an irregular heartbeat, and also with even the mildest excretion, such as taking a shower, my heart will just pound and be racing as if I'd ran around like a maniac. Can this be an underlying problem from being overweight? I am due to have gastric bypass in a few weeks. And I have an apt next week to talk to them about this thing with my heart. Anyone have any ideas of what's going on? Thanks!!

Default irregular heart beat

You are doing the right thing by seeing a doctor. There are medications for irregular heart beat, but the first thing is to be sure your heart itself is in good condition.

Default Irregular heart beat

You have to take your medication. If you stop you can have a stroke or heart attack, because when your heart beats irregularly , it's not pumping properly and certain amount of blood is staying in your top chambers of the heart. Blood is "pooling" and blood clot can form and cause stroke or heart attack. Unfortunately, there are no natural remedies for this disorder.

Default Thanks

Thanks Lydia. I do take medication for the irregular beat and see my doctor regularly. I read somewhere that Hawthorne berry tea might be helpful.
