Has there been a cure found for HIV and Aids? As i have heard from many people (of whom one is a idiot) said that there is a cure for aids and/or hiv.

Personally I do not think there is a cure but could be helped with Antibiotics. Maby in the next 10-20 years we may find a cure But currently i dont think there is a cure and its something sadly people have to put up with.

    

There is no known cure for Aids.
But there have been some great leaps in antiretroviral treatment that can reduced your chances of getting the disease immediately after exposure.
For the people who are HIV-positive, their life expectancy is much better than it used to be and the chances of actually contracting the disease (Aids) itself are much more smaller thanks to Anti-retroviral drugs.
I have also heard that scientists are making headways in trying to come up with a vaccine against Aids.

Up to this day, there is no definite cure for AIDS.
Many do believe, especially in Africa, that if one will do it with a virgin, they will be cured. It is just a hoax and no one will get cured by doing that. It is just another way to spread it.

I don't see a cure for AIDS for another 10 years at least. Although it seems we are discovering and inventing new things so quickly it might come sooner.

Yea this is true. Myths and what not say that having sex with someone who is pure ( eg a virgin) is ment to cure you or something. But if you think of it, it's is just rubbish because you wouldent know if they are infected, but if you were infected then you would give it to her and if she had sex with someone else then the man may get it which spreads

We have been laughing about this stuff on another forum. One had said there that this is a hoax made by some tribes in the hidden part of Africa. I really can say that many people do believe them thus spreading the disease.

Its an old tradition and its different between each tribe but if you think about it is just apsolute nonsense

It is really nonsense. It can only help the spread of HIV virus. C'mon people, think about it more further!

Yes basically no cure has been found yet by scientists but the research is going on to find its cure.I hope that HIV\AIDS cure will be found within 10-20 years.The health organizations propagandize for its prevention as it can only save many lives from affecting this virus.The virus can be prevented from spreading if we are aware about its consequences.Avoid intimacy with HIV affected person.Take some precautions meanwhile the cure will be found in near future.
