Default Boosting milk supply the yummy way

There are a lot of supplements you can take and foods you can eat that will help to increase your breastmilk supply. One of the most commonly touted is oatmeal. But I hate oatmeal-hot cereal's texture really just puts me off no matter what extra goodies I put in it. So instead, I make oatmeal no-bake cookies. They do add some extra calories that regular oatmeal wouldn't have, but since there's chocolate in them, they satisfy your junk food cravings too!

Here is the recipe I use:

2 cu sugar
1/2 cup butter (1 stick, I use Blue Bonnet, not real butter, works fine)
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (I use the generic Kroger brand for cooking)
3 cups oats (quick cooking or old-fashioned kind, don't use instant. Supposedly old-fashioned makes chewier cookies, I haven't tried that. I should. )

Throw everything except the peanut butter and oats into a pot and bring to a boil on medium heat. Boil it for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Take it off the heat and stir in the peanut butter and oats. Drop spoonfuls on wax paper quickly-the cookies harden or set as they cool.
