Post Please help...

I am 28, My cholesterol was high, my BUN TEST was 22. Which was high. My BUN/Creatinine Ratio was 28 which was high. Although my creatinine was normal. My potassium level was 5.5. which was high. Also my urine test came out abnormal showing i might have A uti on top of that. My doctor wants me to do my blood test and my urine test over. Lately i have been feeling tired , and i dont drink enough fluids. My stomach sometimes hurts, can this be signs of kidney failure??? I need answers.

Definitely discuss how you're feeling with your doctor. Tell him all these symptoms you are having. There must be a reason the doc wants you to take these tests again---there may or may not be something wrong OR maybe there was a goof-up at the lab (oh they happen). It is wonderful that you are getting medical attention. Not drinking enough fluids is also not a good thing for anybody and will definitely make you tired. Try to relax and wait until you talk to your doc...I know easier said than done.

I agree that tng talking to your doctor is the best thing to do. One of the great things about our health system is that we have the ability to work with our doctors to help keep ourselves healthy. However, the doctors can only help us if they know how we are feeling and what our symptoms and concerns are. The doctor will want you to retest to see if it was a fluke in your system or a problem with the lab results. Results vary daily and lab tests are more accurate when you have a base to work from. It could be something to due with being ill at the time or a number of other things. This will give them the chance to compare results and discover it there is a real problem.

I would suggest you to try natural ways also to sort out your body problems along with the medication. The best way to keep your kidney, in fact all body organs healthy is detoxifying your body on regular basis. A proper detox under the supervision of health experts at a health retreat provides thorough cleansing of all major organs and systems of elimination: digestive tract, liver and gallbladder, lungs, body fluids (blood, lymph, blood vessels, and interstitial fluid), kidneys and skin. Take any detox programs 5-10-14 days that suits you best in a good health retreat like Fresh Start in Vancouver Island. Their detox plans would definitely help you in sorting out the body problems.
