Default Menopause: How to prepare for it????

At what age do women go through menopause? I've heard it starts in your 50's but I know of at least 2 women started getting symptoms at the age of 45. What are the early symptoms (besides the disappearance of Anutie Flo)? Are there medications you can take to lesson the symptoms? I remember when I was little I used to hear my aunts talking about hot flashes and how horrible it felt. I've always been freaked out over menopause because of the stories I'd hear.I don't mean to freak anybody out but it would be nice to be ready for it when the times comes. I am only 32 years old right now but we all know how fast time goes.

Hi,
Menopause starts defends on the cycle of your period. As soon as you begin noticing changes in your menstrual cycle, especially if you’re in your 40’s, you should consult with your gynecologist, who will probably want to run a battery of tests. One of the tests your doctor should perform is a blood test that will check your hormone levels.

Take note that, change is certain. There is no predicting your own passage through menopause, it may be long or short, bumpy or smooth. Now you can foresee the time when you will begin it.

Hope this info will give an idea for you..
