Default Male Menopause

Have you heard now that research has determined that men go through menopause too? It is currently referred to as their “Mid-Life” Crisis, but it really could be there body going through changes similar to women’s menopause.

Check out this article Male Menopause - WebMD
I found this so interesting.

Oh yes, I have been a big believer in this for a long time. All the men in my life (namely my hubby, his father and my father) who used to be big manly emotionless men now are big blubbering babies at the movies and are cuddly like a little girl. I'm not complaining, mind you, it's just funny how they have changed.

Now that I am of that age, I can say that this is probably a real condition. I have noticed that some of these symptoms in myself, but I don't think they are really dramatic.

I didn't know that! Very interesting! I am always complaining that men have it easy (they don't have to give birth, they don't get a monthly visit from auntie flo, they don't go through menopause or so I thought) but I guess I was wrong.

Default Andropause is real

I can speak from experience that andropause is real and can be severe although in most man it is quite subtle and difficult to detect. Unluckily for me I had quite a nasty experience. I went through a myriad of physical symptoms such as anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, gastric disturbances, frequent migraine attacks, loss of weight, lethargy, loss of libido and total disinterest in life. Luckily for me with help from my family, by taking specific supplements and my own determination I came out of it. I read that a sudden drop in testesterone is suspected to be responsible for some of the symptoms. Therefore taking specific herbal preparations that boost testesterone secretion can help one to recover.

why do you put all of these maladies under the umbrella of "male menopause"?

I was listening to an interview on male menopause not too long ago on the Doctor Radio Channel on Sirius/ XM, and the expert recommended a supplement called Tenaga, which contains a natural form of Tongkat Ali. He said it's good for maintaining healthy testosterone levels. I looked it up and it has a lot of research and science behind it, so I'm going to give it a try.
