Default Alcohol and weight gain

When a man has a big beer belly from drinking for so many years, is part of that his liver? And do thier livers go back to a normal size when they quit drinking and lose weight?

You should go to a natural health food place such as Whole Foods. While there, pick up a bottle of Milk Thistle. This helps cleanse the liver naturally and gently. This way he can detoxify his liver and start getting back to normal.

I would say this would depend on the amount of drinking and if any damage has to the liver has occurred from the drinking. If he could cut the alcohol out in time, there is a good chance he could get his liver back to normal functioning over time.

I have been wondering about this, too. My belly is large, but it is high, like around the bottom of my rib cage so it doesn't hang over my belt. I don't feel bad, and I haven't drank in over seven years, so should it begin shrinking?
