Exclamation Centronuclear Myopathy

They are a group of congenital myopathies where cell nuclei are abnormally located in skeletal muscle cells. In CNM(Centronuclear Myopathy) the nuclei are located at a position in the center of the cell, instead of their normal location at the periphery. Certain symptoms includes hypotonia, hypoxia-requiring breathing assistance, and scaphocephaly.

Myopathy literally means muscle(myo-) diseases(-pathy). Patients with this disease must be careful that they can have scoliosis.

There is no known cure for this kind of disease, until this very day.

-----

This is the disease that I am taking about in the Scoliosis thread.
Anyone of you here known any person, besides me, that have this kind of disease?

Well... This disease is kinda rare. It affects 1 of 15000 males. Take note, this only affects males.
In layman's terms, this can be called "the weakening of the muscles". I can't carry heavy objects. The only problem to me is my body but my brain is functioning normally. My doctor was amazed that my brain isn't affected. I have been able to study until college, going to school up to high school.

I am wheelchair bound for almost 16 years now. My legs are stuck at almost 90 degrees angle. This is what my orthopedic want to fix. But my neurologist had said that even that it is fixed, I can't even walk. Plus the fact that general anesthesia is dangerous for me.

Everyday, I'm in front of the computer, surfing, downloading and doing freelance works.
