Howdy folks,

My name is Shawn. I found yall on TAZ. I am a 25 year old male living in southern IL USA. I work in the coal mining industry and plan to get a degree in math and meteorology and get a job in weather warning forecasting areas. I regularly chase tornadoes and severe weather when I can and love message forums. I have a weather forum myself but I wont post it as the rules may prohibit it. I am a big country boy!

I am currently being treated for COPD, a cigarette smoking disorder. I am not diagnosed yet but the DR is treating me for it as of today. I hope it doesn't turn into it or something worse but all I can blame is myself for smoking 15 years...

Anyways, glad to be a member and I hope to make many new friends! Thanks for having me...
