Hi y'all ....I'm new to this site and forums. On a lifestyle journey towards a healthy and fit body and looking for friends and buddies to share it with. I'm a 54 year old retired R.N. and my hubby has just started dialysis due to End Stage Renal Disease due to diabetes and high blood pressure. It is quite a challenge but taking one day at a time is the key to making the neccessary adjustments. Chronic health conditions affect the whole family unit, a fact I don't think we really think about until it strikes home is such a dramatic way.

I'm looking forward to getting to know others around here and am slowly learning my way around the site. I did post a profile pic, it shows in my profile but not on posts yet.... Does it take some time to show or maybe I don't have it done correctly?
