Default Is it only happen to older people?

What age normally this osteoporosis occurs? Why is it that older people are the one that suffer to this kind of disease? In what age do it start to occur?

no it does not only affect older people here are some reasons for this to occur
Family history of osteoporosis.
Smoking.
Increased alcohol intake.
Steroid drug treatment, particularly if prolonged more than a few weeks.
Vitamin D deficiency.

People over the age of 65 are more susceptible to osteoporosis.
Its a gradual process of wearing out of bone especially if the calcium intake is less.
It starts very early but the first symptoms are visible only after 15-20 years, when the bone strength becomes one-third.At that time fracture and pain is felt.
