Did you know that a dog that is bloated could be in danger of dying???? It's true so if your dog is displaying any of these symptoms please take him/her to a vet to get him checked.

Symptoms your dog is suffering from a bloated tummy:

- you dog has a rock hard abdomen
-you dog keeps trying to vomit
-your dog is whinning (feel his/her tummy to make sure it's not hard)
-heavy breathing and pacing
-is unable to stand up
-curls up into a ball

    

Yes, I've heard of this condition when I was reading up on Irish Wolfhounds. It seems that if a big dog has to bend too far down to eat his food, his stomach will flip over and bind up. I ended up with a malamute and his food is elevated for that reason.

Wow...this is pretty scary. I am already pretty obsessed about my dogs so now another thing to have to worry about unfortunately. Thanks for posting this information and hopefully it can help save someone's dog and save the owner from some needless heartbreak too.
