Default Indoor/Outdoor Cats

Is it healthy for a cat to be an indoor/outdoor cat? I would think it would be good for them to go outside and play and get some sun, but I am not sure. I get grossed out thinking what the cat just went out and killed then came back licking me!

I actually have 4 cats, only one is an indoor/outdoor. The only reason "Sam" is an indoor/outdoor is because when we adopted him from our neighbor (who was about to dump him at the shelter) he had already spent time outside as a kitten. Honestly, I hate it. So far he has broken his leg AND his best little outdoor cat "buddy" was hit by a car in our neighbors driveway. The only reason I deal with it is he goes bananas being indoors. I do keep him in on lousy days and he usually only stays out from about 8am-2pm or so.

Just my experience....

Default indoor and outdoor cat...

Pets like cat should not been taken to home they should always remain outside....because they can harm us....as they are full of germs....so its better to keep them outside in thier cage whcih can be place in the garden or whatever.....and they should be given thier proper health aswell.....

indoor cats tend to live longer. they are healthier. you cant control what your cat does once it leaves the house.
