Polio eradicted?

This is a dead disease. No one gets this disease anymore, at least not in the West.
I don't know of anyone who's ever had Polio.

I don't really think that this is a dead disease since, if I'm not mistaken, there is no cure for this disease. I have seen some people on tv seeking help for this disease like medication, therapy or wheelchairs.

There are probably loads of cases of polio in africa but nobody knows because the media is always talking about how many people have aids / hiv and all the others diseases

It is dead because of the vaccine. Very, VERY little people around the globe get polio nowadays, at least people from first, second world countries. Countries like Africa probably get more than any other country.

haha. Well there are polio injection you get when your born and then every 10 years or something i think . Aparently im due another set of vacinations but meh.
