Default Has anyone had any luck in removing PPP bumps on Penis?

Hi,

Has anyone had any luck in getting rid of bumps on Penis caused by PPP (Pearly Penile Papules)???

For as far as I can remember, I have had these white bumps on the head of my penis, and they are getting more numerous and growing in size.
I saw a dermatologist who told me that they were Pearly Penile Papules (PPP) and were not a health hazard. They are not in any way contagious and a few number of men have them. The root cause for them is unknown.

My problem is that I am a bit shy to get intimate because of them, and don't want to have to explain to any partner that they are benign and to convince them that I don't have some kind of STD.

My dermatologist suggested a treatment with a cream (can't remember the name) but it didn't work. He advised me to stop using the cream and told me that the only way to remove them was through surgery, and there was no guarantee that they would not come back.

My question is has anyone gotten any success at getting rid of them? If so, what treatment did you use?

Thanks

Hey Marco. I am not a man with this problem but I can tell you from a females point of view that you shouldn’t let these effect your sexual relationships. Some of us women get little white bumps down there too that are similar to PPP. I want to say they are Fordyce’s spots? I did read up on Pearly Penile Papules and seen that laser treatment has worked wonders for guys who want to get rid of their PPP. As you know, they are benign and they won’t hurt you medically, but I know emotionally they can be frustrating. If they bother you that much, ask your doc about the laser. Good luck.

Hi Marco. As a woman, my advice is that you don't need to be self-conscious about the PPP. A partner who truly cares for you will be understanding--after all, we all have certain body issues that we wish we could change. Michelle's suggestion regarding the laser is a good one as well.
