Default How to Grow Hair

I have been trying for years to grow my hair. Sadly, my efforts have all been in vain. There was a time in 2000 when my hair grew very long--it was way past my shoulder. But within a few months, it broke off.

Now I'm trying to get it back. Does anyone have any advice on how I can grow my hair long? And does anyone have advice on preventing hair breakage?

Here are some suggestions to keep your hair from breaking off--hopefully this will allow it to grow.

-Hair breaks off more in the winter time. So when the winter arrives, if you have really dry hair try using a moisturizing cream. This will prevent hair from becoming brittle.
-Everyone has different hair. But for people with African ancestry I would definitely suggest always using conditioner after shampooing. Also, try combing your hair while the conditioner is in it.
-Clip your hair every two months. This will prevent it from splitting even more.
-If you already have dry hair, try washing it once a week. Washing your hair every day can take away the natural oils.
-Try not to perm your hair no more than every 6 months. If you can prevent it in all, do so.
- Ojon is a great brand. You should try it. I have been using it for more than a year and it's been helping out a lot. You can find it online or by it at the mall at Sephora.

Hopefully this will prevent your hair from breaking, and thus permit growth.

As a suggestion in order your hair grow faster, you can try this steps here.

1. Be nice to your hair, don't pull your hair into tight ponytails or cornrows. Brush it carefully. If you have wavy or curly hair, you should use a wide tooth comb if your hair is still wet, since brushes can disrupt curl pattern and cause friz, while breaking hair at the same time.Detangle your hair slowly and carefully. Brush your hair before you shower in the morning

2. Try to avoid tangles by not piling your hair on the top of your head when you lather it in the shower when you roll it all up into a ball like that, there's more of a chance of tangling.

3. Take a daily multivitamin because our body needs several building blocks in order to produce a healthy head of hair.

4. Avoid dramatic weight loss becasue when you shed pounds, you shed hair. The dramatic changes that your body undergoes when it loses weight quickly can cause your hair to thin.

5. Relax. Stress is a common cause of reversible hair loss

6. Try not to wash your hair everyday, because the natural oils protect and condition your hair better than anything. Brush hair from root to tip a few minutes before showering so your ends benefit as well.

7. The last but not the least, Use hair masks. Hair masks return natural oil to your hair.

Hope this tips will find a better way on your problem. You can do a research on these if you like. GoodLuck!

I can totally agree with #4! Losing weight rapidly causes hair loss. I was shedding so bad when I was low carb dieting--it was quite embarrassing. I notice tight ponytails also cause my hair to break off. I think the above recommendations posted above are all great.

As far as growing it, there are many products on the market that promise to help with hair growth. I personally have not used any but my husband has with no results. I once consulted an herbalist about hair growth/loss who suggested stinging nettle taken as a tea or internally would help with it. Of course my husband did not see quick results so immediately stopped taking it. I have read good reviews of it though.

I used to have problems with my hair breaking. Actually I still do but I've managed to get it under control and there's less breakage.
Mostly what I do is I wash my hair every other day and I NEVER brush it while it's wet. I also used a conditioner so that when it is dry it isn't hard to brush. Be gentle when you brush your hair. I use a pick nowadays.

I didn't have a lot of problems with breakage until I started getting a relaxer in my hair. Relaxers make the hair really dry and this leads to breakage. You need to wash and condition your hair a minimum of once a week. Also, it would help to use a daily moisturizer and to apply moisturizer to the ends to prevent breakage.

I recommend Hair Loss Cream, this one is an ayurvedic formula to prevent hair loss and promote re-growth of hair caused by different reasons. The cream stimulates the active phase of hair growth cycle, improves tensile hair strength and increases hair density. Buy it here herbalstore365.com/order-hair-loss-cream-online-en.html this is an excellent drugstore.
