I think this forum should have a section where you can recommend a doctor based on state/city. You can call it "Do you know a a terrific Doctor in your area? List his/her info here...be sure to use their location in the subject line...!" or something like that. Also another section called "Find a doctor" where you can allow those who are looking for good doctors in areas something like "Looking for a doctor in your area? Post your request here!"

First of all,I would like to say regarding designing ,as the site is related to health ,background color should be bright so that everyone can see the site properly , and use the forums efficiently.Coming to the topic ,the idea given above is really appreciative ,It will help the needy person to get the contact details of best Doctors more quickly.
I think it's a good idea if a section of the forum is dedicated to this matter. It could be broken by state and cities, I know it's a lot of work but i think Cyndi has a good point.

You can also include a section for other countries.
Since some of the users here came from other countries other than the US.
