Default Tween acne: How to deal with it???

I have a Tween who is starting to break out. I am not sure how to deal with it. I make sure he eats healthy foods (with an occasional sweet every once in a while). He is only allowed to drink caffeinated drinks during the weekend and I limit the amount he drinks. He doesn't eat fried foods often and eats lots of fruits. He takes vitamins and goes for walks with us.
I have tried everything so that he can have nice healthy skin but it's not working. What are some things you do to keep your child's skin healthy?
I do admit that he doesn't eat veggies...could that be the problem?

Some people are just prone to it, so all you can do for them is just minimize the breakouts. My thirteen year old daughter gets rather large breakouts in the t-zone of those surface type pimples, rather than the deep acne. I use a wash with comfrey in it and it works really well.

Can you give me the name of the wash?? My son is getting breakouts on his cheeks. They aren't too bad right now but it is starting to get worse. He is using an acne wash. It worked for a few days but not anymore.

No, I'm afraid I can't becasue I make it at home. I just take one comfrey leaf and soak it in an ounce of alcohol for a few days. Then I strain it and add eight ounces of water and squirt two aloe capsules into it. I know some might say the alcohol does it, but it is incomparable how much better it works with comfrey in it. And the aloe helps keep her skin from drying.

Thumbs up

Hey Healthy Momma, chillax. Hey it might also be due to pollution or else some hormonal imbalance. Do visit a skin doctor if you're very worried. Otherwise you can try a home remedy that I suggest - Apply mint (pudina) leaves paste. He'll get a burning sensation for some time but actually it will heal. If you're looking for more such remedies, try reading magazines like Femina. There, the tips are given by the top notch experts. So, stay carefree and experiment.

Eating junk food is really dangerous. Caffeine is very dangerous for health its like nicotine which is addictive. Stop caffeine in coffees
