A few years ago, all people could talk about is how holding a cell phone to your ear is going to give you a brain tumor near your ear. I haven't heard anything about that for a while...is it not true? Not that kids talk anymore, what with all the texting...

    

I'm not the most pleased to say this, but yes, it is true that people can get cancer from holding cell phones to their ear. The reason why is because they recieve radiation from cell phone towers.

The good news is, we have a way to avoid getting this. When you are talking on your phone, put it on speaker; that way it is away from your ear. Hope I answered your question!

If you were to ask your cell phone service to put a mini cell phone tower on the hood of your car to get better reception, their answer would be no, there is too much radiation.
