Default Keeping Teens Healthy

Teenagers are constantly on the go between school, sports, friends, and family life. How can a parent ensure that their teen is eating properly, and doing the right things to stay healthy? Do teens have extra nutritional needs at this point in their life?

It's important as a parent to make sure that your children are eating a healthy diet. You can require that your teenage eat breakfast and dinner at home and allow him/her to eat out with friends on weekends. Also, you can have the teenager take a pack lunch to school or eat from the lunch. It's best to start your child eating healthy at a young age so they will make the right choices as they get older.

I always make sure my preteen eats a nutritious breakfast and a healthy dinner. I pack his lunch and always try to include some fruit and veggies. I do add a small snack but he knows he has to eat the fruit too. He usually doesn't eat his veggies but he says he eats the fruit but I'll never know huh? I am hoping that he'll eventually see the veggies enough times that he'll feel the urge to eat them. It doesn't hurt to try.

Hey hie, Firstly make sure your kid is eating right. Give him cereals/cornflakes in the breakfast. Tat will start his body's engine. Make him eat at regular intervals i.e. five times in a day. Also make him exercise. Make him do Yoga. I read some cool healthy tips in the Femina Magazine. Very useful. Even you can read it in your leisure time. It will only help your kid as well as your family.
