I have done extensive research on the Acai berry and it is an absolute amazing berry. The ORAC score for Freezed Dried Acai is well over 1000, that is comparing to the highest fruit you can buy in the supermarket is a cranberry and its only a little over 100! if you don't know what ORAC is it mean Oxygen Radical Absorbed Capacity. This is prectically the potentsy level of anto oxidant in a certian berry/fruit.
There is not many fruits found on earth that can compete with the Acai berry, let alone at your super market. On top of that there are not very many affordable juices that you can get the freezed dried acai in. The most well known one is monavie, here is the website: mymonavie . com / monaviesucceed For only $29 a bottle you can get this in you and all you have to drink is 2-4 oz. of it a day!
If your looking to support your immunity and get a mega amount of anti oxidants Acai berries are the way to go. The have been tested time and time agian. the best way to get any type of nutrients or vitamins in your body is through liquid base, in pill base only 9-15% of what your taking is absorbed into your body, liquid base is close to 95%!
Whats amazing about the Acai is, where it comes from (the rainforest in Brazil) this palm tree grows the acai berries on top of it, the palm is submereged in water for 3-5 months of the year so all the nutrients goes to the top and straight to the berries. Think about how beautiful brazilian people are, they live off a acai berries and other very potent strong fruits!
I have seen how it has helped many people out and helped my self as well! It is literally the healthiest thing to put in your body in my eyes!

Acai berry scam
There are supplements on the market that are very effective antioxidants even more so than food in some cases. Much of our food travels many miles before you ever eat it so the nutrition quality has been compromised. Couple that with the fact that most produce is picked green not ripe, food is lacking high levels of nutrients.
Here is a great example of what has happened to our food: You must eat 53 peaches today to meet the RDA for Vitamin A compared to 2 peaches in 1951.
It is virtually impossible to get enough nutrition from the food you eat. You can read lots more on this topic about the need for supplements.
Ask for serum ORAC testing results before you buy any antioxidants. This is a measure of how effective a nutrient is at absorbing free radicals. ORAC done outside the body is not good because it merely measures color of the thing being tested.
Hope this helps,

I have never bought into alot of the newest gimmicks out there. They all "guarantee" the same thing but it never works. The only thing I have seen work with my own eyes was a garment called Body magic. Go to youtube and look for it and you will see. If you have any questions or are interested inbox me.
Have a blessed day

Acai berries are very healthy, as they are very high in antioxidants. But this is no miracle food. Losing weight and getting fit and tone takes work. That's it. Just work. All other methods are fads.

Acai and weight loss

Or is it totally bogus? If you google reviews, they mostly come up as scam warnings.
Anyone out there know?
I read about another product that says it’s a meal replacement/cleanse, Nulean, anyone try that??

The acai is not going to make you lose weight, but it is very healthy for you as long as you get it from the right source. We have a product that is 5 years old and is doing very well. This product not only has acai in it but 18 other fruits as well. The acai berry in order to retain quality it must be harvested correctly. We have a patented freeze dried process which retains over 90% of its value. All other processes lose 90% of the fruits value. (spray dried) These fruits are making a difference in peoples lives everywhere.
Let me know if you want more information. Provide an email or phone number and I will contact you.

Acai berry is better than other berries when it comes to its antioxidant levels. This is all well and good, except you can't get it cheap in most countries. I think it only grows in the amazon or some crap.
Anyway, it's not worth it. It won't do what they claim it will do. If you want abs, you need to learn basic fundamentals weight control.
You need to eat regularly. Healthy whole foods. Count portions. By the end of each week you should be in a calorie deficit (burned more calories than you took in). This will result in weight loss.

i totally agree, the acai is not a weight loss plan that will work. It may take it off, but chances are it will not keep it off, and these magic juices are not realistic because for one they are ridiculously priced and it is doubtful they can live up to their claims. It makes much more sense to follow a balanced diet. Personally, the vitamin I take actually helped me drop a lot of weight. In addition I eat smaller more frequent portions, and the meal replacement bars and shake I use have a patented craveblocker and are safe and affordable by everyone! Definitely go with something that is backed by science!!

All of the above x 10! Simply drinking a juice, however highly nutritious, won't get you to where you want to be by itself. Look into wild blueberry juice if you want the same benefits as the acai juice. Wild blueberry is actually higher in polyphenols than acai, and much less expensive.
On another note, through a process called Food-Induced Thermogenics there are certain foods that you can eat that help to speed up the metabolism and burn calories at a faster rate. Spicy foods such as cayenne pepper help with this, as well as apple cider vinegar, salsas, garlic, ginger, brussels sprouts, green tea, cabbage, celery, broccoli, apples and lemon to name a few. Combine these eating habits with a moderate workout routine and you'll be well on your way. If you're interested in Food Induced Thermogenics, follow the link in my signature and click on FITworks. Also, remember to watch your sodium intake. Sodium causes your body to retain water which will cause you to bloat. Hope this info helps!
