I cannot give you five tips. Because I think people don’t need tips .they just need do work. Everyone knows how to lose fat and become normal. But they are lazy and they are not implementing anything and only want tips.
Only one tip : Exercise daily, don’t miss even a day due to your laziness , motivate yourself daily.
My personnel tips is skip eating meat and rice in dinner. I only eat fruit and do simple 30 minutes exercise. It is not going to lose a lot in week but within 1 month you will see the result.
Eat half size first helpings
Take a multi vitamin supplement
Set realistic weight loss goals
Drink plenty of water or other calorie-free beverages
Be choosy about nighttime snacks.

Eat healthy foods like fruit and vegetables (dont deprive yourself to eat when you want to eat as long as your eating a small meal, everytime we eat, our body is working to burn the calorie, if you planned to lose weight? dont skip meals. eat everytime you are hungry but only eat small meals preferably fruits and vegetables)
Strong-willed and discipline.
Be with people having the same goal with you so it will be easy for you to achieve it

Very simple things throughout the day will help lose weight and keep it off.
1. Get at least 8 hours of sleep
2. Eat smaller portions
3. Eat 5 or more meals of smaller portions during the day
4. Snack on healty snacks between meals (celery smeared with peanut butter is my favorite)
5. And most importantly, during the day, drink tons of water (or unsweetened tea). Keep a big mug of it with you constantly. It will keep the cravings off better.
