Okay so I've had problems with my index nail for about 10 years - maybe a bit less but it started after wearing Superdrug fake nails and the nail began to get ridged and started lifting up. Eventually when it grew, it never normally again and for about 5 months I had acrylic nails put on but have had them off for over a month now and the nail has become raised, it's sore when I cut it back and theres like a coating between the nail itself and the nail bed.
