Question How to reduce stretch marks

Ok ladies I need some help. I didn’t realize until I started losing weight how bad my stomach and the inside of my thighs look! I have so many stretch marks I look like a ditch digger went to town on me! What can I use to help reduce the appearance of these?

Keep in mind that I am casper white, and my stretch marks are barney purple! I need help! This is the first time I have ever thought I may have looked better with more weight since my rolls hid my stretch marks!

I've read that you still have a chance of reducing (or getting rid) of stretch marks when they are still red. If they're white, you can't get rid of them. So having barney purple stretch marks is good! That means they are still new and there's hope!
I've been told that vitamin E works. Buy the little capsules and rub the oil on the stretch marks. I don't know if it works or not since I found out too late. Mine were white.
Shea butter is also supposed to be good for stretch marks.

So there is hope for me yet! That is great news. I will have to check out the vitamin E. My friend’s mom makes some lotion that has baby lotion, vitamin e, and a few other things in it. It clears up my eczema, but I never thought about putting it on my stretch marks. I will have to try it now.

If not I will just have to start booking children’s parties and singing “I love you, you love me”.

Yeah, I agree with the previous poster. I've heard many wonderful things about Vitamin E oil. I personally have never used Vitamin E oil for stretch marks, but it does wonders for new scars. One month ago, I burned myself when a part of my arm accidentally brush against a hot part of the lawn mower. I applied Vitamin E on it for about two weeks, and now, you can barely see the scar. I'm going to buy more of it so I can use them on my stretch marks.

well i have suggestion to give...
my sister got stretch marks so doctor told her to do that.

firstly, you can Brush your skin with a loofah or skin brush when you shower to stimulate circulation.Secondly you can Massage cocoa butter into the stretch marks, then Use vitamin E oil on your stretch marks. Massage it into your skin after a shower also. After that you can talk to your doctor about using tretinoin cream on stretch marks. It is available by prescription only so just ask..may be he can reffer you something else according to you skin type of something.
Eat foods high in vitamins A, E and C, or take supplements in addition to your diet. However, pregnant women should avoid taking more than 25,000 IU of vitamin A as my sis was tolded. add foods or supplements to your diet that are high in zinc, As we know zine is good for skin so it will help also.

Try to use lotion or cream that is formulated to remove stretch marks.

Will it work if they are still a little pink? My stretch marks are more than ten years old, but I still would like to get rid of them. Does the skin actually go back to what it was before or are the marks still there and just unnoticable?

I have another question, someone suggested to me Mederma. I know that is for scars and works wonders for that, but I wonder if I tried it on my stretch marks if it would work?

Thank you all for the suggestions!
